Could you host a nice prospective

Glad to hear OP’s son has a host.

I see that the weather is not going to be so great this weekend. I really hope that doesn’t put people off. My kid’s visit last year on admitted students’ days was really colored by the persistent rain, but he’s glad that didn’t determine his decision in the end! Go to Carleton College’s official Facebook page and check out the beautiful spring photos taken by Marlena (a Carleton admissions blogger and an excellent photographer) and know that during April it has been warmer and sunnier in Northfield than where I live in southern New England! Look for Carleton College photos on flickr–lots of sunny days! And if there’s cloud cover the whole time, know that the stars are much easier to see at Carleton than in the northeast! Carleton’s observatory has an open house the first Friday each month, when it’s clear. It’s a beautiful building, too (might be of interest to someone interested in physics).
