Countdown and Results Thread for December 2008 ACT

^^ a 36 doesnt mean that person didnt miss any questions. It just means that that persons test basically = The curve.

Did anyone from New England get their scores yet???

Woo hoo! I’m from Jersey too and they didn’t post them yet.

Horray.

NYer. Took test with writing and no scores yet. Still reads “registered”. Just a lil FYI if anyone is trying to make sense of this.

Anyone figure out the science curve yet?

I’m from New England and the scores aren’t up yet!!!

I registered late for the test, though, and my scores aren’t up.

What about you guys?

I did not register late. My friends and I always get out test scores on the first day. I have only taken the test once prior to this but I have friends that have taken twice, at different test centers and different dates. This leads me to believe that more people took the test than the ACT anticipated and therefore did not have adequate staff in line to calculate results. I remember reading once that the ACT hires a temporary work force around each testing time to compile test results so in this case, I believe that they under-hired (if that’s even a word).

Boo! I didn’t get my scores yet! Woke up early for nothing! This sucks!!!

35-English
36-Math(Got 1 wrong)
34 Reading( Pretty sure 1 wrong)
32-Science( Got lucky- thougt I bombed this section
34.25 comp

C: 27
E:26 ( thought I did really well. very angry)
M:30 ( OMG!! LOWEST SCORE EVER BY 4 POINTS!!! DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW UPSET I AM!!!)
R:26 (again lowest score.)
S:27 (My science always stays at 27… neverget anything different… I thought I did well…)

Overall, I’m very upset. I thought for sure 30+ in all my sections and 34+ in math because it’s my best subject! ugh… now i need to take it again… Lets see how many I take until i get the scores i want lol

31 COMPOSITE!!!
36- English
34- Reading
27- Math
25- Science…

My scores have such a huge gap… oh well im only a juniors… still got time. But that 31 makes me very happy.

Wow. I just looked and I got my essay score already… I got a 10. I guess I’m satisfied with that…

ugugugugh. I WANT MY SCORES.
mine still says registered
and i registered late
:frowning:
but i’m freaked out, everyone seems to have done reasonably well, even those who thought they failed science…
i really can’t remember what i thought… and i’m always wrong however i think i did.
blek.

eng 35
math 35
reading 30
sci. 32
comp. 33

writ. 10

I just woke up and checked for my scores. Status still is registered, so no scores yet :\ :\
Any other New Yorkers? Crossing my fingers for 33+!!

I am a New Yorker and my status is still registered with no scores. : (

im also in ny and still says registered… so if we didnt get out scores today when should we look again this is so annoying

so how long did it take last year for the late-registered test takers to get their scores? the ones who still had “registered” next to their name by the first date scores could be ready…?

I think I read somewhere that they upload scores every Wed. and Fri., but I’ll be looking everyone morning!!
