<p>About the notification date: Do they send out the notifications on the 15th, or is that the date that we’re supposed to receive them. Forgive me if it sounds like a stupid question my my harvard-applicant-friend insists that you’re supposed to recieve them on the 15th and they’re sent out on the 12th… I’m just confused.</p>

<p>they send it out on the 12th, and usually we recieve it on the 15th. but not always, there have been ppl that have recieved it on the 13th.</p>

<p>i know it says directly on the brown website they are mailed on the 10th. i think they say youll receive your decision on the 15th just in case mail goes slow or something inhibits them. its always good to have a buffer.</p>
<p>the reason its the 10th is because its impossible for the decisions to reach some locales by the 15th if they arent sent out by the 10th. and on top of that, i think all of the ivys are on the same page in that they will have everything done by that friday…makes sense doesnt it, “everything about by friday!!” - dean rapelye.</p>
