Countdown to ED Notification

Tebro:

When You Expect to Hear: (disagreeing with EncomiumII based on what my alum told me) theoretically December 15th, but more like December 18th–they’ll mail it on the 18th, via snailmail because they’re traditional.

Yes, I’m supposed to get that you meant mail it on the 15th here?

Actually. Euh. I attempt to bake. I blew up a cake last time.

ilcapo: I’m sorry you don’t like Asians. If I told you I was half-llama and a quarter Mongolian yak, would it make you feel better?

-L.

Oops. You’re right, and I can’t type. Sorry!

Ahh can you stop signing stuff with “L.”? It really bugs me. Sorry.

tebro…did you apply early to Princeton? I thought you were looking at Cornell.

Ack, sorry.

I usually just initial emails and letters and it’s become a habit. Sorry again.

Yea except here “L” means absolutely nothing lol.

yeah. I ED Princeton, but I’m not at all sure about my chances. I decided to just forget it and concentrate on Cornell. However, with the 15/18 rolling around, I’m getting antsy.

how can princeton take so much longer than dartmouth or yale? 18th?

anyway…oh wait, i know…they suck at life and are horribly understaffed and disorganized

haha, ok, tebro.
I was just thinking, “Ahh! A Cornellian has usurped our board! This can’t happen!”

Not really.

Actually I heard that Yale notifies online on the 16th. Don’t know how true that is, people at my school seem to be uninformed about these things.

No…not the 18th…please no. That throws everything off. Crap.

hahahaha.

man, maybe I would have done better to ED Cornell. Princeton was like uber-pipe dream. except I don’t have enough tools or a monkey wrench.

sorry phil. :(

They never said they were mailing them on the 15th…at least we hadn’t come to that conclusion. has doubts about our reasoning

You people are so nutty.

They are being sent on the 10th. Calm yourselves.

Just when we were starting to become friends too, tebro. French, funny mental images…but that’s all gone now. Geez, just when you start to thinking you can count on people…hehe.

If we could just get a set-in-stone date, that’d be awesome. Even if it’s January 24th (well…). At least we’d know for sure that that’s when we can look out for the mail…

Well my friend who EDed last year told me to expect a letter next weekendish…

Omg Phil don’t say that!! January 24th?! faints

sorry phil. i’m a regular wet blanket. or, in my case, regular wet dishtowel.

24th?!?!?! Christmas eve, the buggering cretins!

see, that’s what I’m thinking. Princeton has not mailed it out as late as the 18th in any recent years. Why would it suddenly change now?

And I know, zant. Bayyy-d me for saying that. slaps wrists bone pops out Dangit! Me and my bony wrists! canned laughter

(he said JANUARY)

and tebro…you’re funny, but your humor is slightly unnerving for some reason… it’s like I expect you to smile at me and then stab me…
