Courses Transferred

Thanks Random. According to the Columbia College website, you dont have to take a course with a lab, though those that have labs I believe count for four units instead of three - making it maybe somewhat advantageous for some people.

I’m assuming it’s the same for GS students.

Has anyone had a course not transfer that surprised them?

Also, has anyone transferred 50+ units and had to stay over 2 years to finish their degree while going full time?

Lastly, I promise:

I went to a community college, then transferred to a four year institution. The four year institution had a policy by which undergraduates must take 2 semesters of english at their university, despite me having 2 semesters of transferrable (UC transferrable according to California CC standards) of english. Though I know the second semester of english does not transfer, would my additional semesters of english be eligible for transfer under a literature course or something of the sort? Anyone have any input on this?
