CPP OR CC

I really cannot say how you will fare at a CC since CA CC’s are known to be academically very good and many are challenging depending upon intended major. If you are not sure which major/career path you plan to take, going to a CC is a good way to explore different areas of interest without the higher costs. You are only 4 weeks into the semester at CPP and for many students there is an adjustment period. I personally would give yourself at least till the end of the semester or complete 1 year at CPP to see if things improve. If after 2 semesters you feel a CC would be a better option, then I would switch to the CC.

TAG for the UC’s is an excellent way to get into your choice UC (6 campuses listed) if you complete the course requirements and maintain the required GPA. For UCLA/UCSD and UCB, if you are able to again complete all your transfer course requirements and maintain a 3.7 or higher GPA at your CC, then you have a solid chance for these schools also.

There is no right or wrong answer here but I think you need to give CPP a chance.
