Craigslist question

LOL, teriwtt! You didn’t need to answer, I was just wondering what population you would be pulling from. I think you are pretty safe with someone buying Willy tickets! :D

Already see several saying this, but as a frequent user of craigslist (both as seller and buyer) my immediate thought was PayPal. But I also always (ALWAYS) meet in a Starbucks to make the face-to-face. Never had an issue.

Just an update… the transaction went well and the benefit being, I got a nice anniversary dinner at Shaw’s Crab House out of it. The only time we could really meet was last night, and I happened to suggest a suburb halfway between the two of us. As fate would have it, that suburb had a Shaw’s Crab House in it, and it happened to be our anniversary; since I was dragging H along for protection, we decided to eat there.

The downside… 1 1/2 lbs. of king crab was waaaaay too much. I barely ate half, then the restaurant surprised us with a congratulatory piece of decadent chocolate cake (which I had no room for because I had planned on saving room for it, but we split it and finished it off anyway!). Had to sleep sitting up last night due to my GERD.

oh, and the garlic mashed potatoes had at least a dozen whole cloves of roasted garlic in them… yum!

I know it doesn’t matter now, but thought I’d post in case someone else has a similar situation. I’ve bought and sold things on Craigslist a few times, so I’m somewhat familiar. People often barter things there, so perhaps that is what “something other than cash” referred to.

teriwtt,

I have GERD too. I know how awful it feels. :(

Hope today is a better day.
