I’m craving every darn thing they are showing on this edition of diners, drive ins and dives…

@CT1417 YES! Jelly candies covered in little sugary “pearls” ( Haribo makes raspberry candies like this!). And anyone who thinks any old gummy bear will do…well, they are wrong! Haribo macht kinder froh!

@BunserBurner – that was my first thought! I can see the hard-boiled egg and smoked salmon….but can we use the watermelon in a martini?

I had never heard of a sashimi cone until just now and no I’m craving them too!

@abasket – I missed your Smarties post above. Yes, they are sold in Canada also but I did not know that until I googled recently. I have bought them in Ireland & England. They are SO good!

chocolate covered raisins!

I can do two out of three on the list without needing to make a trip to the store, BB.
I bought one of those cute personal watermelons a day or two ago and almost always have eggs on hand. No salmon here at the moment, but it sure does sound good!

Mmmm. Dark chocolate orange creams or raspberry creams.

I love all the English chocolate cravings! I am lucky to get a shipment a couple times each year when my English father goes over or my aunt and uncle come to the U.S. Smarties are MUCH better than M&Ms, and Malteasers are far superior to Whoppers. The quality of chocolate is just so much higher. My biggest English candy vice is Maynard’s wine gums–especially the blackcurrant ones. Why isn’t blackcurrant a popular flavor in the U.S. I mean, we have “blue raspberry”…which is disgusting and fake…

In my house we are also fans of Ritter Sport–love the dark chocolate with marzipan. And the Trader Joe’s milk chocolate with 30% whole hazelnuts–yum.

@sally305 We also love the Trader Joe’s milk with hazelnuts. And I tell myself it’s kinda like eating something healthy because there are so many nuts. . . .

I was craving tootsie pops yesterday so went and bought a bag. I ate like half of it.

I also sometimes crave M&M’s (regular kind) Smarties (only buy those at Halloween) and red licorice (that is my go to at the movies.)

I just came back from the supermarket. How did that bag of Werther’s Originals sneak into my shopping cart?

Right now, if anything has an undue amount of carbohydrates, I am craving it.

Flourless peanut butter cookies!

Cheese. I think that’s because I ate too many pink wintergreen lozenges a few days ago.

Thankfully, I finally found a bar at Whole Foods (it’s a holiday-only item)!

@FlyMeToTheMoon Who knew that there was a connection between pink wintergreen lozenges and cheese

Brach’s neapolitan coconut candy and hard ribbon candy would be good, too. Feeling sentimental. My grandparents always had those candies at Christmastime.
