This thread is officially off the deep end (of being on-topic).

I will add this before I go:

IF BJU was in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia, American society (conservatives and liberals alike) would have no trouble labeling it “anti-American”, “extremist”, or a “terrorist training camp”. It doesn’t matter if the comparison is apt or not, that’s what it would be labeled.

my aunt went to bob jones for nursing before they lost their accredidation. shes head nurse in urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, a noted research hospital. What made her choose Bob Jones, god only knows, but seems like the education she got didnt end up being too terrible. Of course, different time before the loss of accredidation, so its probably hell on earth now.

Abercrombie and Fitch and its subsidiary Hollister have shown an unusual degree of antagonism to the name of Christ and an unusual display of wickedness in their promotion. In protest, we will not allow articles displaying their logo to be worn, carried, or even displayed

Luke 6:9 ** And thou shalt seek out makers of cloth who display lewdness and anger thy God, and thou shalt smite him with thy sword**

Their website didn’t say anything about classical music. I can think of some pretty passionate/sensual pieces. Heh. (Not to single out BJ–the Catholic Church in the past banned some music as well, Debussy’s Afternoon of a Faun for one.)

Personally, I would never attend a Christian college or university because normally, they are not accredited. However, PCC and Bob Jones have seen a HUGE increase of attendance to their schools. My goodness, perhaps America is a predominately Christian nation after all! ;)

Yea, because one college in SC is totally representative of all of America. Well, you are right in the sense that there are more Christians in America than any other religion. But don’t make the mistake of saying that America is a Christian nation.

Just because BJU is in SC, does not mean that all of the students who attend there are from SC. I am sure many are from Maine, New York, California, China!

OMG! There is a real place called Bob Jones?! I thought it was a pseudonym for a fake, low tier college. Man, I wouldn’t go there if my life depended on it.
