<p>I had always heard that adding your kids to your accounts doesn’t have anything to do with THEIR credit history but I know it did with adding my daughter to our Costco AmEx. When she was getting an apartment post college grad, it showed up on her credit report. Good thing I always paid it on time! </p>
<p>Both my kids seem to have gotten our excellent credit history, or why would D have gotten a costco AmEx card when she doesn’t even have a job?!?! S likes his credit score in the high 700s. Don’t know what’s is but she hasn’t been denied any credit. </p>
