<p>hi i’m currently attending, there are tons of kids outside right now walking around and i have no doubt there will still be kids out til 5am. personally i’ve walked around just about every time of the day and have felt safe. there are very few places you can say that about but this is one of them. those things you point out we usually just get emails about. it just catches your attention cuz you’re looking for it? i mean, i didn’t ever hear about the shooting until a teacher mentioned it in class. it’s a suburban college. so if you think about it that way, not too much trouble happens in the suburbs unless you’re looking for it… does that make sense? oh and if at any time you don’t feel safe walking around by yourself and you’re not where you want to be, you can always call Public Safety and it’s very common for them to just drive over, pick you up, and bring you where you want to be.</p>
