<p>Well some undergrads who take on the role of GSI definetly often call themselves GSIs. Heck, I had an undergrad GSI last semester and she repeatedly told us that she was a “certified GSI.”</p>

<p>This website suggests to me that undergrads who take on the role of GSI **are ** GSIs, not “uGSIs”:</p>
