Some data that should help you ascertain your chances.
admit rate and gpa data by major and campus
use the TR GPA byYr tab to see the difference between transfer GPAs from, CSUs vs CCs to each UC.
LA and SD are really selective no matter where you are transferring from… you have a good shot if your transfer GPA is in the upper range for your major.
I’d suggest you also apply to a couple less competitive UCs so you are sure to have a place to make progress next year.
