Had the great pleasure of attending the culminating lecture yesterday at Pace for the 2013-2014 Artist-In-Residence John Doyle. The event was moderated by the actress Alexandra Silber (also a Pace professor) and featured performances by a group of Pace MTs, as well as by Malcolm Gets and Judy Kuhn. What a wonderful thing for the Pace MT program to offer its students – the opportunity to work with an amazing professional for an entire year.

(As a tremendous experience for Pace MTs a few weeks ago, Mr. Doyle workshopped a new Kander & Ebb musical with the students – the musical is called “The Visit” and will be heading to Williamstown in a few weeks.)

Here is an item from Playbill that ran before yesterday’s event: http://www.playbill.com/news/article/190455-Alexandra-Silber-Moderates-April-27-Afternoon-with-John-Doyle-With-Performances-by-Judy-Kuhn-and-Malcolm-Gets

Can’t wait to hear who next year’s Artist-In-Residence will be!
