Cum Laude?

Dean’s list is an honor’s list that comes out every semester, or quarter depending on the school. In order to make the deans list your cumulative gpa at the end of the semester or quarter must be 3.5 or higher. Some schools also do what is called the “president’s list” which is your gpa must be 3.75, I believe, cumulative or higher. You can make the dean’s list every semester or quarter. If you get a 3.3 the first semester, and get a 3.5 the next semester than the 2nd semester you would be on the dean’s list.

Latin honors are given to you based on your cumulative gpa when you graduate.
