My sons portal said under review but that has since disappeared and it does not show that a decision has been made. He submitted his application at the end of November and had an issue with his transcripts which were sent over in January. The waiting game is killing me! He has been accepted into every other college he has applied to but John Jay is his #1; it’s stressing me out lol

Hi, so I just successfully logged into My Choice for Hunter and I see some other people had trouble logging in but I didn’t have that does this mean I got in? When I log in there’s just a page about Prospective students etc… I didn’t get that message like some others did about it “only being for admitted students” does this mean anything. I called the Hotline and it says under review but my portal says made a decision veruy confused Hunter is stressing me out lol. I don’t think the admission decision thing applies to my other school either cuz I already got in. So confused please help???
My portal has been updated stating that I’ll receive a decision shortly, but it’s taking forever! I’m a freshman, does anyone know how long they usually take to contact applicants about the decision?
@jadiek681 I am in the same predicament as you. I got decisions from every other school but hunter and I have also received a letter from CUNY to take the math 6 placement exam (and according to the letter I was suppose to receive all my decisions by now).
Hi guys. I applied to Baruch, Lehman, and Brooklyn College right. So logged onto my portal account under the “College Links” section it only showed Lehman and Brooklyn. It says an admissions decision has been made and I’ll receive notification shortly. Does the absence of Baruch under that “College links” section mean I got rejected?
@xxxx23456 Did u try logging into my choice like I did you just click reset your password and put in the email you applied with and u should get an email. Does it work for u
@mitomcflyy No, not necessarily. There’s been people on this board that have got into colleges that disappeared from their college links. It seems from reading these forums it’s a glitch in the system. But in order for us all to gain more insight share your experience when you get your decision back.
@xxxx23456, I know how you feel. My son also received his letter informing him to take the assessment tests, but he still hasn’t heard back from City College yet. Hoping to hear something soon, this waiting is killing me now!
Today I received an email from city college about an acceptance for some reason the deposit fee was already paid for.
Ugh when is the next wave for freshmen, so stressed
@ellen77, if you don’t mind, did you receive your letter informing you to take the assessment test yet? Just wondering how many people are waiting to hear from a CUNY who are supposed to take the test first. So stressful.
Congrats to everyone that been accepted to their dream school so far! I called the John Jay admissions since I was getting nowhere with the actual CUNY admissions and the lady who was talking to me told me that a decision has been made. When I called the CUNY admissions automated machine told me that my application was still under review. I checked the CUNY portal and it says the same thing that it’s under review. I’ve applied to 4 colleges and they’re John Jay, Queens College, Medgar Evers, And York College. I’m a transfer btw.
Just got an email from Brooklyn College! very happy!!
For now, do I just wait for them to mail me the formal acceptance letter and commitment form? It says it’ll arrive in 15 business days.
Got into Brooklyn an hour ago and received acceptance letter from Baruch like a minute ago!

If you can log in to MyBaruch but didn’t yet receive an official acceptance letter, that probably means you got in!!! That’s what hapened to me 
Got an acceptance from Brooklyn college today at 1:47 pm!! Still waiting on Baruch, Hunter, and City college.

Anyone got an acceptance from Hunter yet? That’s just about the only school that doesn’t seem to have sent out acceptances yet?
Hunter is always the last college to send emails. They like to be special.
