<p>Scheduled school breaks have a bus to and from NYC for $25.00 door to door.</p>
<p>I imagine same set up to Boston.</p>
<p>DS used the bus last time. Was very happy with the arrangement. This, of course, does not speak to spur-of-the-moment trips and visits.</p>
<p>There is a bus from Williamstown to Pittsfield. S used it to visit relatives in Pittsfield, so conceivably, one could get from school to NYC or Boston on one’s own steam. </p>
<p>There are also flights from the Albany airport and a shuttle service to the airport. Obviously, not the spur-of-the-moment type transportation, but doable.</p>
