<p>I think “what distinguishes Duke” is really an issue that only you can answer…for it involves who you are, what you are seeking and how well Duke matches that. </p>
<p>My son looked at several colleges and found Duke’s reputation world-class academics, Work Hard/Play Hard, community engagement, and nationally ranked sports made Duke stand out. He especially liked one particular program.</p>
<p>For you, it may be something different based on what interests you. My daughter for example has no interest in sports and wants to live in a large city…she likes NYU, UPenn, and UChicago.</p>
