This is asserted only by people who do not attend Harvard. Every actual Harvard undergraduate that I know (and I know a bunch) says that the atmosphere at Harvard is far more cooperative than it is competitive.

Of course not. They don’t want to admit (least of all to themselves) that all that money, all that time spent on APs and ******** resume-padding ECs, was wasted and that it is really, really not what they expected.</p>
