Great advice on checking out the degree program curriculums. LACs are usually great for social science (and for getting research opportunities & getting into Masters/PhD programs.)
I find students overemphasize the whole urban experience thing. For our kids, they really didn’t have much freetime after studies & sport/club commitments so the “town” atmosphere quickly became a non-issue (esp with lots of weekends away for matchs.) And compared to the little Iowa town where DDs LAC was, Denison has much more escape opportunities. As with all undergrad decisions, I’d highly encourage going where merit $ leads.
