Yeah I jumped on the instapot wagon and got one on amazon for 68 prime. It’ll be for my MIL, hopefully she’ll like it. Other than that I really didn’t see any super smoking deals, but I didn’t shop until about 9 tonight and I’m pretty darned tired, so I just grabbed the instapot deal and then gave up. Luckily we have a small family and we don’t buy a lot of stuff, so I’m not freaked out by not finding deals.
Word of advice: Don’t buy an InstaPot for a WIFE unless she requests one or has mentioned wanting one. 
Is it bad I haven’t a clue what an instapot is?
By the way, congrats to the people who do not commercialize Christmas. We would all be better off with less stuff. My ideal Christmas might be having me and my wife and our two kids volunteer somewhere from 7 am to 12 noon and then go home to eat kind of like Thanksgiving with a walk thrown in.
I did Thanksgiving at my sister’s house. I didn’t enjoy it for some reason. There was over the top laughter and photo ops that, of course, must go on Facebook to show other people how much fun we were having and about 15 topics were tacitly unspoken so we could really only take about food and how great everyone looks and how much we ate and if we taped it we could mail in the entire conversation from last year. I don’t know. Maybe I am an old Scrooge but I wished the whole time I was somewhere else although her yard looked great.
@GoNoles85 I didn’t either until I read about it here. Supposedly it is magically fast and wonderful. MIL likes crockpot stuff, and I think she used to have a pressure cooker back in the day, so she might like this.
She did like the hydroponic herb tabletop grower I got her last year (asked me for replacement pods for the oregano), so I’m hoping I’ll be two for two this year wrt gifts.
I got 15% off glasses at Crate & Barrel and free shipping. They were ones I wanted but not at original price. Plus got DD the 40% off deal at J. Crew and free shipping. Otherwise DS’s stuff wasn’t on sale.
Did not buy a thing over the weekend or on Monday. There was nothing that made me salivate and reach for my cc (or should I say type the memorized number? )
I ordered a couple of things from Macys. But only because I will be having lots of guests and need more bedding.
I ordered underwear from Macy’s. For me. Cyber Monday was a better deal than Black Friday, it wasn’t a doorbuster so I could also use my 25% off. Would have cost $154 (not that I’d ever pay $11 for underwear) plus $12 for socks, but I got it for $44 plus 12% ebates and free shipping.
I’m set for years.
