<p>The D-plan is Dartmouth’s academic calendar. Students are “required” to be in residence all freshman year, all senior year and sophomore summer.</p>
<p>Sophomore and Junior year they are free to pick and choose which terms they are going to be on campus giving them flexibility to do internships, study abroad programs or just have leave terms.</p>
