Daily chores you NEED to do.

My mother never ironed a thing (but her cleaning lady did.) She says there isn’t an iron that fits her hand.

I take clothes out of the dryer, hang them up, and lightly spray/mist them with water to take out any wrinkles. Half hour later, looking totally wrinkle-free, clothes are ready to be hung up in the closet. Besides pillow cases, I virtually never iron.

I iron all my work clothes and my going out clothes. I love natural fabrics and don’t wear synthetics (except bathing suits.)

I also sew and you can’t sew without pressing. Order out of chaos.

Wellspring, I highly recommend silk jersey and cashmere. Both are washable and do not need ironing. There is a reason I do not buy linen clothes… I am allergic to wrinkled fabrics, but I do not iron.

I don’t wear sweaters of any kind because I get much too hot. Jersey is too clingy for my taste. But it doesn’t matter. I like my clothing choices and I don’t mind ironing.
