<p>The dance minor is offered through Tisch Open Arts, not through the Dance department, so there is no audition process as far as I know. Anyone can take those classes.</p>
<p>If you want to major in dance, you have to audition and be admitted as a dance major. You can’t enroll as another major and “switch” to dance or double major in it, though if you’re admitted as a dance major you can double major in something else. If you transfer into the dance program, you start in the first year of the dance program, though academic credits might transfer.</p>
<p>Also, if I’m not mistaken, the dance program at Tisch is three years instead of four.</p>
