Our studio was the same way – the Company dancers were the academic stars as well. My take is that an achiever is an achiever, whether the venue is school or dance.</p>

<p>These are the girls that pursue dance as a career. Most the company girls head off to college and do not pursue dance as a major or a career. Most of the girls in D’s group are at the top of their class academically in school.</p>
