<p>I’ll be applying to Dartmouth, I like the rural location and actually think that the greek scene would be a huge plus because it seems like some of the ivy leagues are a little bit boring.</p>
<p>My College Counselor recommended that I look into Dartmouth, and I think I’m warming up to it

<p>the need blind admission, financial aid and undergrad focus, as well as the obvious academics are drawing me in.</p>
<p>It’s a huge huge reach for me tho… but i can dream right?</p>
<p>A very large number of schools are need-blind, provide financial aid (are you fine with taking out loans? Dartmouth will include more loans in your financial aid package than some other places of equal caliber), have a strong undergraduate focus, and good academics.</p>

<p>so there are only 6 schools in the entire US that are need blind for me</p>
<p>and even though Dartmouth does have loans in the package, it’s one of the best options I can get.</p>
<p>One more Dartmouth hopeful here. It has been one of my reaches lately.</p>

<p>Canadian here. Dartmouth is need blind so it’s a great financial option and I like how it’s no.1 for undergrad teaching. </p>
<p>Oh, and btw…WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET INTO DARTMOUTH??? LOL</p>

<p>^ Hanover felt like a nice cozy college town when I visited and I love the outdoors so I have no qualms about how rural Dartmouth is.</p>

<p>Greeks aren’t that big of a deal and you will always have plenty of people who don’t drink and it really isn’t all that cold up here :)</p>
<p>I might apply RD. I really like the fact that it’s small, and rural. And the D-Plan seems like it allows for flexibility and a lot of options.</p>
