My S thought he wanted Dartmouth last year. Rejected. And is very happy and successful at Hamilton.

yup! honestly i lost faith after that and all the waitlists. funny that one of the last schools i got back (which was in my top 3 before i got any decisions) was an acceptance. i opened my hamilton decision- saw congratulations- didnā€™t read anything else and broke down hysterically crying. my entire family, when they realized i got in, also began crying. The relief i felt and utter shock was crazy. i expected a waitlist at best.

Then i read the letter- which was personalized- and cried again lol

OOS student applying RD for Political Science
1540 SAT
4.0 unweighted GPA
9 APs, 2 honors classes
top 3 in the nation for debate as well as other good ECs

i also had an interview that went really well!

so many tough decisions ahead!! so excited!

Has your financial aid been released yet? Did they give you any update on when they would send out packages

Did they mention when financial aid packages would come out? I donā€™t know if you applied for aid or not, but Iā€™m still trying to figure it all out. Maybe something went wrong with mine but I havenā€™t seen anything about it.

My financial aid package came with my admission letter! I think that as long as they have all your materials, there should be a link to it at the bottom of your letter too.

You should contact the school and ask them if they are missing anything from your Fin aid app

I donā€™t see any of it directly, but my D24 sent me the financial aid letter immediately after she got the decision. I assume it is available on the Dartmouth portal.
