Dartmouth Class of 2029 Official Thread

I don’t even have a financial aid tab although I applied for one…

The entire portal is gonna for me and there’s a message saying decisions come Thursday

Same

what msg do u guys see once u guys login?

If an admitted student has this, and you do, and most others have the general one, I perceive that as a positive sign. However, we won’t know for sure until that day. Please keep us updated. Good Luck!

I see this does it mean anything?? I’m not reading this thread too many posts lol

Your picture isn’t loading for me, but some have saying that it’s full and some have a calendar. There’s not a big enough sample size to really start making conclusions.

Mine says full

I put both messages in AI and asked him to interpret it for students who have not been admitted. This what he said:

Summary of Dartmouth Portal Messages:
• Both messages are written as if for admitted students, but neither confirms admission.
• Message #1 (calendar visible but not working) sounds like an invite for admitted students to book financial aid appointments. This might suggest early access to admitted student content—but not definite proof of admission.
• Message #2 (no calendar, says spots are full) also assumes the reader is admitted, but the tone implies they’re late to book.

What it might mean:
• It could be a technical glitch, early content rollout, or location-based system test.
• No official decision has likely been made if offers haven’t been publicly released.

Best approach:
• Don’t assume these messages indicate admission or denial.
• Encourage patience and remind students that only the official decision counts.
• Avoid comparing portals—small system differences don’t equal outcomes.

I have it too, and upon clicking the link, it says this page has moved. What does it mean?

yes it does. what does this mean?

I’m pretty sure it’s just a link somewhere on the Dartmouth website. If you inspect element and do hhtps you’ll find a bunch of links that have nothing to do with admission but are on the Dartmouth website

So far, can we tell if there is any correlation between which message people got and whether they applied for FA?

That seems very positive. Do you mind checking the FA meeting signup link to see if you get the one-on-one meeting full message or the message with calendar? Which one you have could help us determine which message is positive and which is negative

I have "we are excited to offer … " message but no dates available

I get a message to reserve a private meeting and a calender but no dates availabe

So what seems to be the more common result when logging in?

It seems that the calendar is more common. Someone earlier said they asked Reddit, and that was also the case. Previously, the thinking was that the short message about them being full was better. I don’t know if CJI-css results change that at all.
