<p>We start in late September. Winter break is roughly December 7-Jan 7. Spring break lines up with other schools’. Spring term finals start next week.</p>
<p>It’s really not a big difference. The schedule is like that of any other school on the quarter system (Chicago, Stanford, any of the UCs).</p>
<p>One aspect of the D-plan is that most sophomores traditionally spend the summer on campus. This lets students take an off term sometime during the regular school year to do what they want. Your competition is significantly reduced if you’re looking to get an internship during this time.</p>
