<p>I am trying to understand exactly where you stand, so please help me. </p>
<p>What I understand is that you are a USNA Graduate, 1980, and no doubt a proud alumni. Congratulations.</p>
<p>I also understand you are a father of a candidate for the class of 2011. Congratulations again.</p>
<p>What I do not understand is your positon on women in the academy- I am getting mixed messages, and I would appreciate clarification so that I do not draw the wrong conclusion.</p>
<p>My hope is that you are supportive of all the Midshipmen- and Midshipwomen-and that you are simply upset at the negative press current behaviors have brought upon the United States Naval Academy.</p>
