<p>I posted what I did because we did, in fact, have one poster a while back ask the question of whether they should be concerned for their daughter’s safety (a perfectly rational question coming from a parent). With the seeming regularity that these stories have begun appearing here, I just wanted to help settle some potential fears ahead of the curve. The parents and candidates have enought to worry about without adding false alarmism to the mix.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t know where to get a “date rape drug” if I wanted one, or even what to ask for when looking for a “date rape drug”. I wouldn’t want to have relations with any woman who was so stoned on a drug as to not know what’s going on. I would never feel the need to resort to drugging a woman to have sex with her (I recognize I’m no Brad Pitt, but sheesh!). </p>
<p>Maybe I’m just too old or too out of the mainstream or something. I just don’t get it. </p>
