<p>well, I go to nyu and 63% of students are women, and I would guess half the men are gay. But you’re in a city where you’re surrounded by millions of guys, so that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. I’ve been to pace and visited fordham and columbia several times, and there’s definitely more straight guys there, although i think girls are the majority in college now. As for being career-focused, sure there’s some people like that, but we’re college students, not middle-aged professionals…the dating scene isn’t bad at all, although I would guess soCal is better. Plus it attracts more fun-in-the-sun types.</p>
