I had to do a double take with “poo”-- I thought, I’m definitely getting old; there’s another new style of music I haven’t heard of! But seriously, for a student with those interests, many many liberal arts schools could be a wonderful environment/incubator. I’m thinking Bard College or Bennington would be great, but they are a bit far from the city. Sarah Lawrence is another great possibility–and they are very close to NYC. For Manhattan, I’d look at NYU, or even Fordham Lincoln Center (the arts campus, which has a great theater program where she could meet other performance-focused kids.) So many great options out there.
