I did not try to submit but the form did open.

Nah, i think you would be fine. They would not bother to keep track of who was admitted by name lol. And they would especially not bother to change the outcome of your decision.

The form opens (is accessible) for everyone (no login required), so I donāt think thatās a tell for anything.
How are you accessing the source code?
I just press F12 in chrome
Did you have to login in order to submit the registration for admitted students day? It looked to me like anyone could register for this, but I might be wrong

Soā¦I logged into the portal and tried F12, which opens up in the āConsoleā tab. I didnāt see any mention of āAdmitted Studentā there, but when I switch over to the āElementsā tab and then search, I do see two incidents of āAdmitted Studentā. No idea if this means anything. In order to be indicative (much less definitive), we would need to see examples from other applicants with some mention of āRejectedā or āDeniedā or something along those lines, or at least no mention of āAdmitted Studentā in the āElementsā tab of the source code
Open your portal, then press control plus U. In the new window that pops up press control plus f. Then type in admit. If it says admit anywhere you are prolly in.
Tried Ctrl U, but no mention of āAdmitā anywhere. There are two mentions of āAdmitā with the F12 method. Are you (or is anyone else) seeing āAdmitā with Ctrl U?
Hi @Zenja I see exactly two instances of admit in the elements tab too but none in the Control+U method. The latter shows your portalās source code. The āadmitā class being present in your source code should be a better indication of acceptance IMO. I am pretty sure everyone can see instances of admit in the element tabā¦but as you mentioned earlier, it would be interesting to see if someone cannot
I can also see my counselor, my checklist, important dates tab, plus āYour Davidsonā and āSchedule a visitā on my portal. However, curiously, it appears to say, āConfirming materialsā at the top of my portal. With the admissions around the corner it is very unlikely that I will be accepted if they havent even confirmed receipt of all my materials lol
Where exactly do you see āConfirming Materialsā on your portal? Is it at the very top of the page (just below the url) or above the checklist, etc.? Can you include a screenshot?
When I look at the Elements tab in the console, there are two instances of āAdmitted Student.ā Iām hoping thatās a good sign.
So far, a bunch of us have that. In order to know whether it means something or nothing, we need to hear from somebody who canāt find āAdmitted Studentā in the Elements tab.
If it makes any difference, I checked it yesterday and āAdmitted Studentā was not there.
Nothing on the first page when you log in. You have to click on the application and then F12.
