<p>It is well known that Davis is very strong in its science fields, but can anyone tell me how is it in non-science fields, i.e. history, English, international relations, psychology, polysci, etc.</p>
<p>UC Davis has an excellent psychology program. It is the most popular major at the school. The Political Science and International Relations programs are also outstanding with the state capital nearby there are lots of internships. PS and IR students can participate in the UCDC program. </p>

<p>UCD also has an outstanding Public Health program and I’ve heard good things from students about the English dept. I suggest you email the department heads if you have any specific questions. They love to tell you about their programs! Technocultural Studies is another really cool major available at UC Davis (not at any other UC). Check it out!</p>

<p>There are a lot of people that don’t do science at davis even though davis is largely considered a science school. Despite this however, there are people who still go into good careers with non-science majors. I know of someone who majored in what was davis’ graphic arts program (technocultural studies) and is now working for disney. So its all pretty much what you make of it. The opportunities are there though</p>
