Days Left

Today 13-Mar Days-Left 19

well this aint gud for taking the longest reading period of all top colleges 3.5 months and givng latest decisions …

look at MIt… took 2 months 17 days only…

SM

Well, some of the Ivies release their decisions as late as April 15. You certainly don’t want that.

QuizQuick, which Ivies are you talking about? I was under the impression that they pretty much either mail or notify online on March 30th.

wait so stanford decisions come out april 1?

give or take a day, april 1

Today 13-Mar Days-Left 19

april 1st should be interesting on CC…imagine the gazillion numbers of posts about getting in/rejected/waitlisted and then the number of pple asking “ooh congrats…what were your stats?” lol

19 is too long!!!

I wonder what April 1st was like last year.

hectic…busy, probably. so april 1st for online?

how about through snail mail…a couple days after, im assuming?

We’ll find out soon enough now won’t we?

Today 14-Mar Days-Left 18

Today 15-Mar Days-Left 17

SM

no… way… it’s not the 15th yet. :p

How do we recieve decisions…I am guessing by email.

^ yes, or by mail if you choose

^ was there a box somewhere on the app that asked if we’d like to receive our decisions by e-mail? i don’t recall…

Well if you applied online, you’ll get an email reminding you to check your account. If you applied by paper, then you probably won’t get an email. I don’t recall there being a box to check, though.

Could the fact that I didn’t apply online be the reason why I haven’t received emails from Stanford? Also, there isn’t a way for me to check my decision online?

smartmind, i’m assuming ur an international? We should probably go by the time that it is in California, since that’s where Stanford’s located. So it’s it’s March 14th right now.

the way they did it for scea was that all decisions were posted online (as well as through snail mail of course).

all applicants received an email with their ApplyYourself PIN # (used to log-in through online system).

those applicants who applied on paper received a newly-created PIN from Stanford, while those who applied online received the same PIN through the email.

for paper applicants, a second email sent from Stanford has the temporary password matching the corresponding PIN # on ApplyYourself

…from there on, it’s pretty much self-explanatory (decisions posted online).

this is how it worked for scea; not sure about how they’ll do it for RD, although i’m assuming it’d probably be the same.
