Is it too much to ask for confirmation?

on the other hand:

^^ Yeah looks like it did happen in 2004.

too bad it’s 4 years later…

On the other hand – in 2004, the deadline was changed to Jan. 4th. So the page can’t be a 2004 page, though it’s still probably old.

This is what the yale website said:

“The postmark deadline for paper applications is December 31st. We will keep the online application Web site open through January 3rd, so that students who may have technical problems submitting their application are able to resolve the problem and still have time to submit their application.”

Why is it that I cannot find that news anywhere on the site other than that specific link?

If you call the admissions office (203-432-9300), you’ll hear a recorded message saying that it is closed from Wednesday Jan 24th through Thursday Jan 1st. The link says that the office is closed from the Dec 22nd to Jan 1s. Therefore, I think it’s an old webpage.

Everyone - don’t take the chance! Submit it by 11:59pm tonight. You don’t want to be mistakenly disqualified b/c of some sham website. After you submit, go out and enjoy the new year! :)

yeah if you cant find it on the site
dont trust it.

if it were true, they’'d have it in a box on the main page of the site in BOLD or something
