Debate: Prove to me the 1950s and early 1960s weren't the peak of civilization

If your scenarios don’t exist, then I don’t need to argue them, because THEY NEVER HAPPENED. As long as we’re talking about things that never happened, how about this:

In the 1950’s and 1960’s, Americans’ primary sources of dietary protein were babies and kittens.

Look at how bad the 50’s and 60’s were, everybody! Do you see how that doesn’t work? Further, I only said that I doubted that three of your scenarios were real, not seven as you seem to think. The real proof of lack of a point comes in the fact that you, in neither of your accounts, have real refutations of any of the arguments put forth against you in this thread. In fact, this thread’s gone something like this:

Proletariat - Argument
You - Deflection (random other element of modern society that you erroneously think is awful)
Proletariat - Refutation
You - Second deflection (equally random element of modern society)
Ad nauseum…

Find some real points to argue, or refute ours with logic and facts. Until then, your argument is invalid and you lose.
