Dec 1st CR Version II (Brain functions, photography, father artist...) Discussion

@exaphor
Pretty sure one of them was choice C, but I can’t say for sure. And I def feel you dude…Got 760 in math past two times for -2 on the most random mistakes

@exaphor I know that the barrel question was C (2000)
@teehee I also got that it was aptness or something along those lines… Is that wrong?

@yiwen
I also got hypotheses and aptness, although I recall debating with another answer choice

@exaphor which ones do you think you got wrong?

@exaphor 2000kg was answer C. 60 was also answer C. (Unless my memory is completely off).

can anyone tell me which section was the “atypical” sentence completion question in?..i didnt even remember if i had this question…damnnnnnnn…

the atypical one was that the black ppl were part of a tradiition of social reform or something

Also, someone said that the hypothesis and the aptness one were different choices o-o

dammmnnnn…do you know what were the reading passages in that same section?

@teeheelol
I thought it was something like ‘give hypotheses and discern the aptness’ or such of the painter’s past

I do not recall what the reading passages were
@SAT128

if that was the answer choice then i think we got it right

literally gonna cry…if i skipped this question…

Okay so let’s all make a list of random questions we have remembered, to try and compile a list of answers:

Math
-the tickets were the last two (L&M)

  • r+t = 11
  • 2000 kg
  • coordinate is (2, 5 3/5)
  • length of the rectangle’s diagonal is 10
  • smallest value of m is 51
  • possible permutations of ties is xy-1
  • 5/11 is the possibility of picking a blue marble

Reading:

  • untenable
  • parents were loving and affectionate
  • dad lacked personal attributes
  • passage is about peleas going around the world
    topics for expansion that I didnt talk about:
    -sudoku/crosswords
    -documentary photography
    -the muir/nature passages (comparisons)
    -brain science passage with the memory
    -some of the short paragraphs

Writing:
-“draw on” → draw upon

  • the “gravity’s rainbow” with the banjo is no error
    -#28 is no error
    -birds wings flapping

passage
-delete the benjamin franklin sentence
-place that sentence before #14

anyone remember what the 2 questions on the crossword puzzles were? i know the 2nd question was about how it divided the audiences

@thenerdyjew
What was #28?
And are you sure place before #14? :(

I didn’t get that the hypotenuse was 10…

Edit: Was the CR fill in blank ‘cursory’ for the knowledge of comics?

@exaphor i’m sure about place before 14

I don’t remember what #28 was about but i’m 100% sure that it was a no error because none of the underlined things were errors AND there’s 90% of the time a no error in 27,28 or 29

kim, i know i put #19 (was that the banjo?) as no error but do you remember the sentence for #24? i think i recall putting 3 no error’s

Oh lol I got two ‘no errors’ consecutively at the very end. Shoulda known that made no sense

i think 19 was the banjo; 28 was no error; i didnt get any other no errors tho
hyp was def 10
cursory is right

I cant remember what the error was for 29 tho…it was about the men and women and their clothing and looking representative or something

also can anyone remember the 2Q for crossword puzzles?
