For the one with rotating the vector 90 degrees, was there a (-2,3) answer or just (-3,2) I just remember I looked at the signs it had to be one because of the quadrant it was in. I’m afraid if there was (-2,3) I may have erroneously marked the wrong one (-2,3) instead of (-3,2) because I didn’t read all of the choices.

(-2,3) was an answer. The correct answer was (-3,2).

correct answer for that is (-3,2). Does anyone remember the uniform height question. the question was like A=7LH, H being uniform height and L being length. Asks you to solve for height. some of the answers were 0.5, 5, 75. I just solved for L cause that was the only unknown variable left. Answer resulted in 5.

^ correct 5

Does anyone care to make a list of anaswers for the last 15 questions? It would be very apperciated! :)

Oops… I should really have read all of the choices. Heh, there goes my 36 in math.

For the midpoint/7.5 problem, what was the answer, A or B?

The answer was 7.5, which was choice A.

anyone remember the answer to the question with the picture of the tent? or i forgot was it a tent…

Yeah, it gave us a tent and told us that the base was 6 ft, and the two sides were both 6 feet in length; we were supposed to find the height. To solve this, cut the base into two pieces; 3 feet each. Now we have a right triangle and can use Pythagorean’s theorum to find the last side. We know that the base is 3 and the hypotenuse is 6, so 6^2=3^2+x^2. Simplify this a bit to get 36=9+x^2. Further would be 27=x^2. Thus, x is the square root of 27. The question asked for a rounded answer (to the nearest whole number), so the answer is 5.

@paulho: That question has been asked numerous times now. The answer was 5. For future reference, people, please go back and read if a question has already been answered before asking it again. Otherwise, these threads will go on endlessly.
