For English, the farm was necessary because it conveyed a sense of intimacy (or something to that effect). If I remember correctly, there was one answer with a colon in it, but I don’t remember whether it was the Pei question.

For Science, the absorbance increased as the concentration increased.

Can’t help you with reading since those are 2 out of the 3 questions I was very unsure about (and ended up getting 2 of them wrong).

English: 35 (Very excited about this one - U 18/R 16)
Math: 35 (Missed one sadly - 18/17/18)
Reading: 29 (Ran out of time and forgot to bubble LOTD - SS16/AL13)
Science: 36 (Yay. I don’t remember any specific answers just reasoning behind why)

English/Writing: 31 (Not thrilled, but meh - Essay: 8)

Overall I’m quite elated as this is my first time taking the ACT.

Highest score in my grade along with another person that also got a 34.

Overall: quite happy, since I was aiming for a 34. I’m a little upset about the essay though. However, I’m sure the essay score really isn’t THAT important.

Well, I’m a Canadian student - and my decision to apply US was somewhat last minute - so I didn’t have my whole life to prepare for the ACT, but I’m pretty happy!

Comp:29
Eng: 34
Math: 24 (I haven’t taken Mathematics 11 yet, so I had some great times playing guessing games)
Reading: 31
Science: 27

Writing/Eng = 33 (Essay - 10)

So I breathe a sigh of relief… and Wellesley College, here goes! C’est la vie.

Or Yale, Cornell, Columbia, Stanford, MIT, Caltech? Idk if it’s even worth sending 2 scores if it would bring my score up to a .75 and round it up one point

^ Thanks, except what I gathered from recent forums is Stanford only takes the highest composite, and Duke and Harvard admissions have answered that they DO superscore the ACT. What source did you get your info from?
