English 36 Math 34 Reading 27 Science 30 Composite: 32
I’m a sophomore, but I really need to improve haha xD I’m going to start studying for the February one. Any tips for reading and science? Im also pissed about math because I finished with a lot of time but I got 2 wrong >:(
Funny thing is Science went from my daughter’s worse to tied for her best. Up from a 22 to a 31!
since the next batch of scores will be released on friday, if ours were to come out on friday would it change form registered to tested before then?
So if I’m still “registered” and I will not get my scores until February, what do I do about January 1st College deadlines? Any help appreciated!
Guys is it true that a 32/40 on reading is a 32 scaled score???
@oawnstar @MadoverHarvard At midnight central, the earliest they were coming out!
@atr123 I’m not really sure of any specific tips I could give you. The science and math sections come naturally to me and I didn’t really do any focused prep for those areas. For science (and reading), it really just comes down to finding the information in the data/passage and making inferences occasionally. If you go in knowing that all the answers are in the data, then it feels pretty easy (at least for me, YMMV).
I woke up. Still registered :((
@Ashar15 No, the subscores do not directly correlate to exactly how many someone got wrong.
@DigitalKing Can you do curve predictions for English, Math, and Science? How many questions do you think you got wrong? (if any)
@ikhan4 you didn’t get two wrong you probably got 5 to 4 wrong!
No im pretty sure the curve for math is pretty harsh
me neither
scores are out i screwed up big time
@Dylan197 yeah i know but i read somewhere that for this test, a 32/40 in reading was a scaled score of 32
You are being very hard on yourself-- look at the questions you missed and really internalize how to get the right answer. You will do better next time.
Follow this link and decide for yourself. Your question is hard to answer unless you look at individual schools. http://collegeapps.fabout.com/od/choosingacollege/a/CollegeProfiles.htm
Do the school’s you are applying to super score- if so, I would say yes-
Happy! That’s a good score and now you can move on with your life.
@KaffeineKitty here’s the correct link http://collegeapps.about.com/od/choosingacollege/a/CollegeProfiles.htm
Does anybody have any solid curve ideas?
