@krauser126 It was a joke implying he’s the reason the phone shut down but I guess it was a bad one
On a brighter note, tomorrow’s the big day!
For some reason, I’m scared my scores will be canceled. There are 2 possibilities why they might be canceled…I discussed answers (but only for a few minutes right after the test) on a google doc, but it was immediately deleted after CB warned us and I randomly bubbled the whole experimental section and didn’t even try so it may be seen as an inconsistent score…
@JuicyMango I’ve heard of people leaving the experimental blank without any problems and based on your past score I highly doubt they’ll suspect anything. I didn’t use the google doc but did a CB official really shut it down? Idk how it was done but if they just deleted the doc then it was probably a student acting as an official because there’s literally a google doc for every test and I’ve never heard of CB actually intervening with them.
@JuicyMango Calm down. Google Docs for all tests have been around forever and I’ve never heard of any score cancellations due to them (and if someone did get their scores cancelled, they’d probably raise hell about it on CC). Those “edits” are mostly from other bored students trying to scare people.
how can you tell which section is experimental?
@adhebbar Sometimes, if a section (that’s only supposed to be there once) repeats or a section that has an odd number of questions from normal practice tests
Hey guys, I had four math sections on my test and one of them was much harder than the rest (I had to leave three blank and the rest of the sections I only left 1) is there a good chance that that was an experimental section?
@glassflowers thanks, but
- If a section repeats, how can you tell which of the two is experimental?
- lots of critical reading sections have an odd number of questions
also @scaredaboutsat
I think I know which section you’re talking about… ( some people I talked to and I shared the same opinion about three super hard questions) the one with gridding in answers, right? That wasn’t experimental
- that’s the main problem, the same thing happened to me on this test
- usually not for cr but like if a math section has a really odd number of questions?
I was able to determine my experimental when I got a second 20question math section after a grid in section, so it absolutely had to be one of the two 20 questions one. I figured out it was the later one by asking people who had a different experimental like critical reading a question out of the first 20 question one. Everhone recognized the questions from the first section and only the ones who got a math experimental recognized the later section ones.
is any one else extremely anxious about the result
14 hours almost till it releases ._.
@IneffableMind @loquatical Thanks guys, you’ve helped me calm down a bit.
@Noob99 Man I’m super nervous…all I want is a 2300+, but that’s starting to look more and more like a Christmas miracle when I think about all the silly mistakes I made during the test :p.
I’m so nervous. What if I don’t get into any of the colleges I’m applying to because my score doesn’t increase? My GPA is already a nightmare and a half, but having that plus bad test scores… Ugh. This is the worst.
adhebbar,
I got 2 math grid in sections as well. Was section 2 the experimental (please tell me it is) because that was ridiculous compared to section 3 the other grid in section?
I think I got a writing experimental section… Anyone else???
I have friends who took the sat in november and the curve is seriously crap right now, one got 700 in math by getting 3 wrong
one got 740 in writing with a 10 essay by getting two wrong
Hey to all who had math experimental,
Was the first grid in section the experimental (section 2 the one with the cars and trucks and the different colors and the logic question about trains being too expensive and slow)???
Thx
For some reason, I am extremely calm about the scores being released tomorrow lol. I don’t think this is normal.
@Noob99 Haha they should’ve tried the SAT in 2014. One skip in Math was a 750.
@PartyNextDoor wow…that’s just scary
