***December 2015 SAT (US Only) Thread***

@krauser126,

Do you still remember the general questions in your section 2? Did you have the “which of the following is x^2-2x-3 divided by question followed by answers like x+3,etc?” Also, did you have a really long word question on the last MC of the section before grid in?

Thx

@dncn888 I’m sorry, I cant tell. But in the non experimental section, I do remember some weird question about “median mode mean” being the last mcq… and yeah the section was pretty ridiculous xD

Dont worry guys, it’s just a stupid standardized test that’s a kinda formality ^^ It might not even represent your actual strengths…I know a guy super amazing at math, but he only got a 710 :stuck_out_tongue:

@IneffableMind,

I don’t think section 3 was experimental. I had a 18q with grid in on section 2, a CR section for section 3, and a 18q with grid in section for section 4. So i think that the experimental had to be section 2 or 4?

@dncn888 Sorry I don’t recall much :frowning: I think I had a long question involving finding the sum of the roots of two equations or something like that.

the sections are shuffled for everyone guys, you’re section 2 or 3 could have be 6 or 7 for the guy next to you.

Well good luck everyone, I hope everyone does well

will critical reading have a harsh curve or a normal curve?

@dncn888 Experimental isn’t the same section for everyone. I’m 100% sure mine was section 3 because right after the essay I had a regular math section and directly after that was another math section that was obviously in the new SAT format so I knew it was experimental and didn’t put much effort into it.

an hour left… :confused:

If I live in Mountain Time, do I have to take into account daylight saving?

1 hour left omfg… guys do u guys know if critical reading is going to be an easy or harsh curve? and @dncn888 try checking the college board website

@ratclown,

I think that the CR is going to be a pretty harsh curve (felt that it was easier than the Oct. one). I guess we’ll know in roughly 30min?

isn’t it an hour and a half?
to my knowledge the earliest it can arrive is 5am eastern time or is it not?

Yea it’s an hour and a half. (An hour and 25 min to be exact)

Yeah, to my knowledge it has always been 1:55 AM Pacific Standard Time. Which means about an hour and a half left.

I personally felt that CR was way harder this time, and I got 750 on it in Oct. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised by a score decrease then if I’m wrong.

2340!! I got a 800 Math, 780 Critical reading, and 760 Writing. Super pleased with the results. Good luck guys!

u got it so early??
