Guys superscore is 2230 for me- 780 M, 760 W and 690 CR. Should I take the test again one more time in Jan to improve the reading, or leave the score as is? Thoughts.

Dissapointed I went down to 2180 this time… Somehow ended up with a 710 in math??? No idea what happened there, guess I’m retaking in Jan

@nervusguy If u are planning on a field in math/science then don’t bother trying to improve CR, they don’t care anyways, but if u want to go into, say journalism, then retake for sure.
The colleges that I will apply to will only see my best SAT score or super score. I think they only see the number of attempts and higher score. Three attempts is fine for the SAT.

but im guessing its a good idea to retake it in jan? maybe at least for the math. Or should I take the new one next year? im applying in fall 2017
@ayad217 what about business, finance or economics. are they more math or liberal arts in your opinion- they are most likely going to be the kind of field i will study in college, so should i retake or no
What is your ethnicity? And personally, I would retake it one last time in January if I had the time. Of course, there are also the SAT subject tests (math, physics, chemistry) that can also demonstrate your knowledge in a specific area.
You can also take a shot at the ACT but I personally think you should try one last time, a higher score can’t hurt you. Just remember that you already have a great score and that you are just trying to improve slightly 
SAT scores are only a small portion of your overall college resume, so relax, enjoy the holiday season, maybe watch Star Wars 
@nervusguy are u applying next year? I dont see any problem in retaking it for the cr, unless you think it’ll affect your gpa

I’m Indian @andy276153 so yeah i know my ethnicity somewhat counts against me in the admissions race but yeah i do believe i have a decent score, just wondering if i need to retake to improve reading since combined math+ reading scores in the superscore is 1470 which is competitive enough.
I think you should take it in January one last time because you studied for the test so hard already why not spend one last Saturday morning? I think it’s entirely possible for someone to improve by 100+ points.
I think what really matters is whether or not you believe you have the time to take it one more time. Just remember that you should still take SAT II and that you have AP tests and you have to keep up your grades in school and whatnot, but I really think that you’ll be okay

^bro. I got a 780 in math this time. but before that? i had a 590. I pulled this out of my ass, and I would have killed just to get over a 700. so don’t stress about your score. a 2170 is very good. my cousin got into UVA with a 2120, and she was an international student.
Now about retaking, I guess it wouldn’t hurt since you really have nowhere to go but up superscore-wise (which is what a lot of colleges look at according to their Score Choice policies). So relax, take a deep breath, and know you can do it like I did!

2000 composite, so disapointed, I was among for a 2100. How did I do so bad in critical reading though???

I went down from 800 CR to 720 CR lol. Thats not a big deal right? Going for math or science major so it shouldn’t be.
