does conservative mean right answer?

@pokemon1 @mochilate1897 But she never connected with her mother. Throughout the whole thing, she was detached. Remember when she would reply “yes, yes” to all her mother’s question so why would she try to connect with her mother? Also, why would she giggle at her mother’s haiku. Isn’t that rude and naive?

How will the CR curve be

that is why she wanteed to connect with her mother

@mochilate1897
What are the details about the spectacular mountains one? I don’t remember the question
And what’s the one about love?

Procrastination problems:

  1. Why author talks about writing nonfiction right after he mentions it as a fiction?
  • To show it’s not necessarily easier
  1. Musket scenario
  • Absurd example to illustrate a point
  1. What the 1st author would say to the second one after hearing about his talking about “factual incidents”
  • It would cause a decrease in mental concentration
  1. What does the author mean when he says “the irony is that I like writing”
  • I’m not sure :stuck_out_tongue:
  1. How would the 2nd author regard the 1st passage
  • Accurate but incomplete
  1. Guys please add ^:)^

@pokemon1 @Sherlincapt
Plus she wrote something like I wanted to “REACH” my mom

for the irony, I said that it exemplifies that procrastination is a complicated or difficult topic

@Wreckdecembersat What were the options for number 3

anyone remember the question about walking? in the train passage

@ratclown I can’t remember because I rushed through last 5 questions for that passage. I’m scared if I even put that as my answer choice on the test. Can you remember any other option for that problem?

@Wreckdecembersat the mountains was like “what does the 1st paragraph of the mars. venus passage do” and the love one was the thing we were just talking about, how he loves to write

  1. was that choice B?
  2. right 3.right
  3. gg
  4. right

@Wreckdecembersat both answers you said
@pokemon1 i agree with you, she wanted to connect.

as for the colorado one… now that i think about it im not sure

@pokemon1 creative thinking? because the author talked about while walking people can daydream, think about things and stuff

dang theres my first and hopefully last mistake

what’s the consensus on the “i love writing” one? I said it was to show how it was a confusing thing, but @Wreckdecembersat had a valid argument

however, upon looking at chron.com (http://smallbusiness.chron.com/travel-agency-service-levels-31269.html)
this excerpt says
Standard
Standard level accommodations are inclusive of more comforts than those offered in basic packages but still lack the many luxuries offered by packages in higher classes. Standard amenities often include more direct flight packages, private rooms with multiple beds and private bathing and cooking facilities. Basic dining options and transportation basics like rental cars are also often included in standard level packages.
it says luxuries offered by packages in higher classes.
and generally newspapers are correct.

@Wreckdecembersat I don’t remember that… But that doesn’t change the fact that she was rude to her mother throughout the whole passage. She would reply “yes, yes” regardless of whether she liked a poem or not and she giggled at the poem her mother wrote in English. The small quoted poem, remember? That was the poem her mother wrote in English and she giggled. For that reason, I can’t really see as to how she would even want to connect with her mother. Not saying I’m right, just my opinion.

@wreckdecembersat for 4. i put he has pleasure in writing only one that made sense

for the writing were these the no errors?

  1. maria and the bus
  2. the octopus
  3. director and pan’s labrynth
  4. technology incorporating
  5. colorado visitors seeking outdoor activities

@mochilate1897
so far I only heard from four people (for the irony problem)
A friend of mine, you and @pokemon1 all put the same answer, which is to show it’s complicated. My friend’s argument is that the author actually said that it’s “VEXING”
@facsimilecoterie and I put the answer choice with the word “pleasure” in it
