@BobbyMD
Do you mean -8?
@mochilate1897
Yea, I hope it was -8. Thats what I put

It’s -8

yeah it’s -8

For the writer/procrastination passage, I got that “procrastination is not easy to explain” as an answer for the question about what the Passage 2 author indicates when he says that he was vexed and liked writing. Anyone else?

Thank you guys!

For the writer/procrastination passage, I got that “procrastination is not easy to explain” as an answer for the question about what the Passage 2 author indicates when he says that he was vexed and liked writing, but that he still liked writing. Anyone else? Or was the answer that people who enjoy writing less procrastinate more?

@questionasker123 yeah thats what i put too

@KevinDDD

You put hard to explain?

@questionasker123 yeah

I remember on that procrastination question, I originally picked appealing but incomplete, but then while double checking I read a line that made me realize that the answer was appealing but erroneous. If anyone can remember the question, I’ll probably be able to remember the reason

@ineffablemind I guess Im wrong on that one then, what do you think about the math curve this time?

@KevinDDD The math was pretty average but I made a few stupid mistakes, my guess is the curve will be pretty standard. Also do you the remember the actual question for that procrastination one? I just remember seeing that the author of the 2nd passage said something about the quoted lines that specifically didn’t apply to him but would to most writers. I think the lines quoted was a generalizing statement about writes but throughout passage 2 mentions something unique to him which disagrees with the generalizing statement. If anyone remembers the question I could remember what it was specifically.

Btw, for the differences of medians question, did anyone get 3? I saw a lot of people post 5 so I assumed I made a stupid mistake but I’m curious if anyone else got my answer.

CR:

  1. interested in…extrovert?
  2. unoriginal vs. antagonistic vs. flashy?
  3. Walking is impractical, machines are better?
  4. on the condemn…dread one I put dispense…X but I don’t know what X was?

Can anyone confirm these?

WR: (Insert Animal) intelligence is comparable to THAT OF other animals.
I thought “that of” is wrong because animalS don’t have 1 intelligence but many.
Like…my arm is stronger than the arm of other people. rather than My arm is stronger than the arms of other people.

@ineffablemind Sorry i don’t remember the exact question and I got 3 too, I think

@juicy 1. same 2. flashy 3, i think its the one saying walking is romantic or something 4. don’t remember WR i picked E

@juicy And do you remember any hard math problems? cause Math is the only thing Im worrying about

Same, it was about that thing that grows in the desert

@JuicyMango
You cannot replace and test ‘arm’ instead of ‘intelligence’. Inteligence is always singular, and you dont really say intelligences. Arm can be both singluar and plural.

@JuicyMango

  1. Same
  2. I put flashy but it could’ve been antagonistic. This question gave me a hard time.
  3. I put something about walking leads to creative thinking because he mentioned daydreaming and things like that after walking
  4. I put dispense and detest
    WR I think the question was "Octopus are the smartest of all invertebrate animals… (Don’t remember the rest)
    I put “smartest of all” as the error. My reasoning was that the “all” was redundant since they already said “smartest”

On math, for the difference of medians question, what answer did you get?
@KevinDDD Hopefully we’re right
