@glassflowers
ok:) was cryptic along with words like obsolete, banal? if I didn’t remember wrong
yea now i remember, it was commenting on words such as “awesome” and stuff
@Wreckdecembersat i put banal for that question, but i think cryptic was one of the answer choices?
yep, banal and ribald were some of the answer choices for that one
@glassflowers yes.
@glassflowers ahhhh i miss 8 so far… bye yale
@Wreckdecembersat ikr same :(( i missed at least 3 for reading, at least 4-5 for writing…even a curve can’t save my score now
For the math question with the 70 degress it was impossible for it to be an isosceles triangle right? Because there was a 90 degree angle i thought… so I put I and II, not all.
@ratclown wouldn’t my raw score be 48? Not 49?
@goog721 even worse. I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote the original answer. Your raw score would be a 47. That would translate to a 690. Subtract 20 to account for the curve and you will get a 670. The formula for raw score is (number correct)-.25(number incorrect). So you got 48-.25(5)= which rounds up to a 47.
Does anyone remember the exact or similar wording of the bus party question, and the octopus questionso i can ask my writinf teacher about them? Or any other questions that were difficult
Were both the “them” questions on the writing have the error on the them
I didn’t think “musing, courting, thinking, daydreaming, and seeing” really counted as CREATIVE mental activity. But for those of you who chose that, why isn’t the answer that people don’t have enough patience to walk anymore? Quoted from the passage, “[the decline of walking] is also about the lack of time - the disappearance… Machines have sped up and lives have kept pace with them.”
@ninjadu that’s an associative fault. Just because they have less time doesn’t mean they are impatient, they can be patient but it just takes longer.
Guys was the spinner math question a grid in?
And was the y=3/2 a grid in?
@averagewhiteguy They said nothing about a 90 degree angle. The answer was I II and III
@IneffableMind was the spinner a grid in? Also was the y=3/2 a grid in?
@ratclown Yes to both.
@IneffableMind ARE YOU ABSOLUTLY SURE? That means my score won’t be as damaged omfg
100%
I remember bubbling in 5/6 and the y = 3/2 one, it was the last grid in question.
