Hey country day I feel for you. I am obviously much older than you and have experienced many disappointments and failures in my life. It is always difficult not to get what you want, but I have found in my life that I learned far more from my failures than the successes. In retrospect, I can now see that whatever success I have achieved in my life is directly attributable to these hard times, and I am better person for learning from my missteps and applying that knowledge to overcome the inevitable obstacles. i know this sounds very cliche, but I think most successful people will tell you the same thing. Wherever you end up, I am sure you will make it a great experience, and if it isn’t, you can always transfer to CMC or some other college. In the end, it really doesn’t matter which college you go to, if you have the intangible qualities like perseverance, integrity and a modicum of intelligence, you will go far in life. Keep your chin up, the hurt will not last very long. Good luck.
