I totally agree with GAdawg… after being accepted, wait listed deferred and rejected by a range of schools (yes rejected from my safeties, into my reaches), I have stopped trying to figure this out. People read applications and have their views on what they need to build a class… it isn’t about us and what we need, it’s about them. Gone are the days when they simply put numbers into a computer, did a sort and got an answer on yes or no. I am very excited to be admitted to Georgia this year, and that whatever I had was what they were looking for. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen this way for everyone who wanted it, but the concept of “appealing” doesn’t make any sense to me. It’s ok to be sad and disappointed, but trying to figure out the process by looking at the end result never works all that well from what I’ve seen.
